Once the site of a sawmill that was powered by the waterfall, Smokey Hollow Falls and the Grindstone Creek were rehabilitated many years ago and now is one of the most beautiful waterfalls and hiking destinations in the area!
The 20 foot tall ribbon waterfall is located in Waterdown Ontario and is beautiful year round (water flow does vary). In Autumn that beauty is nothing short of incredible! The changing colors of the leaves mixed with the stone and green moss. Flowing water down the valley and the waterfall, All make for a great hike! The clearly marked trails with wood railings and steps when needed, are also a great feature!
