Planted on each side of the walkway to Hamilton’s bayfront park are two rows of Sakura ornamental cherry tress that blossom for a short period in early spring. The trees were plated as part of the Japanese Sakura Project. A symbol of goodwill between Japan and Canada.
The beautiful blossom period attracts many people and it is becoming rare that you can go to see them without crowds of people doing the same. For these shots it took me about an hour of waiting to get a chance of capturing them!
