The architecture of this Inn looks like a castle and was home to several families, as well as a hotel for many guests. Until the landlord served an eviction notice, informing all the tenants that they had to be out within 48 hours. The cited reason was that the fire alarm system hadn’t been working for a few months.
It had been thought that the owner planned to demolish the building and build a retirement home on the property, but after 28 tenants filed a suit with the landlord tenant board and won. It would seem those planned have been forgotten about and now the castle shaped building sits abandoned.
