Whitehern

Yesterday I needed to get some video footage of Whitehern Museum in downtown Hamilton for a future video project. While taking the video I saw how nice of a day it was and also how perfect the lighting was! So started snapping away.

Whitehern was built in 1850 by attorney Richard Duggan and was originally named Willowbank. Then in 1852 it was purchased by Dr. Calvin McQuesten. The McQuesten family renamed it to Whitehern and the family lived in the house for 116 years.  The house was bequeathed to the City of Hamilton in 1968 and is now a Museum.
