When I began researching this old stone house, I was coming up empty. I did find that it is listed as a heritage home, with no information provided.
With the built date and the rest of the details still not available, I found a newspaper article from 1972 explaining how a 24 year old man who lived in the home with his parents, was brutally shot and murdered. For more info about that watch my video below.
The family lived in the home until his parents passed away.
After the original family left, the house was purchased and used as a rental property. Until the house and the 2 acres of land that is on was sold to a private school. The school has plans of building a 3 story school building on the property. They have also stated that they plan to integrate the stone portion of the house into the new facility.
