Urban Portraits

Sometimes it is best to just wander without a plan and see what inspires you! This was our mindset as we set out for this urban photo shoot. Emily and I started at Hamilton’s city hall, where the bushes and trees are changing color.

Our next location was not far away, in fact right across the street! I noticed some great light and shadow features at the entrance to an underground parking garage.

Then when night came we added Shadow (the dog) into the mix. Getting some great shots of the two of them! Even getting a good light trail portrait of Emily.

Just getting out and “free balling it” is always a lot of fun and can bring out a lot of creativity! Some of my best photos have been created this way and I highly recommend trying it out!
